What does RedFlag actually do?+
RedFlag is a real-time risk intelligence API. You send us events — user logins, transactions, profile changes, whatever matters for your risk surface — and we return a risk score with a plain-language explanation in under 400 milliseconds. You decide what to do with the signal.
How long does integration take?+
Most teams are sending real events within a day. We have SDKs for Node, Python, Go, and Java, and a REST API for anything else. A full production integration with alerting and dashboards typically takes one to two weeks.
What's the latency SLA?+
Our median detection latency is 340ms end-to-end. We commit to p99 under 800ms in our enterprise SLA. We publish real-time latency metrics on our status page.
Security & Privacy
Does my customer data train your shared models?+
No — not without explicit opt-in. Your event data is used only to score your events and improve your models. Participation in the global threat network (which improves detection for everyone) is opt-in and uses fully anonymised, aggregated signals only.
Are you SOC 2 certified?+
Yes — SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001. We can provide our latest audit report under NDA. We also offer EU and APAC data residency for enterprise customers with regulatory requirements.
Careers
What does the hiring process look like?+
No take-home tests, no leetcode. We have a short call with the hiring manager, a technical conversation with two engineers (no whiteboard, just a real problem we've faced), and a final conversation with one of the founders. The whole process takes about two weeks.
Is the role fully remote?+
Yes. We're a remote-first company with team members across the UK, Europe, and North America. We do one in-person offsite per year (covered by us). Overlap with European working hours is expected for the engineering role.
Do you sponsor visas?+
For the current Senior Software Engineer role, we're hiring in countries where we already have an entity: UK, Germany, and the US. We're not able to sponsor new visas at this stage, but this will change as we grow.
