About

We started because the tools didn't exist

RedFlag was founded in 2021 by a team that spent years at banks and security firms watching organisations respond to threats hours or days after the damage was done. We believed the problem was solvable — just not with the tooling available. So we built it ourselves.

How we work

Four things we don't compromise on

Speed is a feature

In risk, 340 milliseconds is the difference between catching fraud and paying for it. Latency is never acceptable debt.

Explainability isn't optional

A black-box alert is worse than no alert. Every signal we produce ships with a reason a human can read and act on.

Small teams ship better software

We deliberately stay lean. Every engineer owns real surface area and can see their work in production the same day.

Privacy is infrastructure

We built data isolation and residency controls before we had customers. They're not compliance boxes — they're load-bearing walls.

Soo-Yeon Park

PhD in anomaly detection. Produced models that run in production — not just in notebooks.
